How Small can I go With a Roller Garage Door?

Hi all, Any advice is appreciated. I’m going to convert a double garage into a single garage and a home office, want to go as wide as possible with the office and an extra foot or so will make a big difference, so want to go as small as reasonable with the single garage. Anyone know how small you ca...

Re: Cutting Fence Posts to Size When Already Installed

The tool you refer to looks like the guide only you will also need the reciprocating saw. How many posts have you to cut? if it only up to ten or so i would use a handsaw. Mark a line about half way between the top of the top rail and the top of the pickets at a slight angle away from the pickets (...

Re: Rockwool Sound Insulation Slabs and Sound Insulation Qualities

For a baby's room / nursery over the garage I'd go for the best possible thermal instead of sound insulation. Just my $0.02 Thanks, no issues interns of heat loss, quite the opposite to in fact. I can say that I'm very satisfied, footsteps are hard to hear and sometimes, when me and my wife are in separate floors, we need to shout to eac...

Rockwool Sound Insulation Slabs and Sound Insulation Qualities

Hi all,

anyone used Rockwool Sound Insulation Slabs, they look like a good option for me, easy to slide under the floorboards.

Just keen to see if anyone has used and can advise on how much soundproofing they provide. Im looking at the 100mm think ones.

Thanks

Dom

Fence is on and level, now I just want to level off the fence posts (they are 3x3’s). I ...
