setting up dvd home theatre system

by stevethefish » Fri Dec 26, 2008 10:06 am

Hi, I have been bought a dvd home theatre system for christmas. I can play dvd's fine on it and get amazing surround sound, unfortunately I am struggling to get dtv to work on it. I can get normal tv, with surround sound, but then I loose out on picture quality and channels. I have tried all sorts it does not give much on the instructions, just use a scart lead.
When I put on DTV (digital TV) I can hear a different normal tv channel playing.
Any help would be appreciated.

stevethefish,
Some of these systems are difficult to set up especially if you have an older TV with just one scart socket. You may have to use a component video lead to get things to work. If you google "connecting tv and theatre system" there are many solutions.
