Hi

Wonder if anyone can help. My sewing machine stopped working this morning. The needle won't operate when power is applied. The needle operates when I do it manually, but not off the foot switch. Light is working so I know it's taking power.

In the old days of the Singer sewing machine where the motor was a bolt on extra we may have been able to give some pointers. Today however the motor control is very complex and even the old repairers now tend to repair by changing a module and seeing if that works following a laid out procedure for that make and model of machine. The chance of DIY repair is remote.
