just installing p shaped shower unit in new en -suite bathroom ,the walls have already been dot and dabbed with 12.5mm green plasterboard and skimmed.Originally it was going to have a bath in it, but now my wife (bless her) has decided on this shower cubicle , the only trouble is now we have to get 15mm pipe either down the wall from the loft or from under the floor to feed the electric shower half way up the wall, do you think i could get away with cutting agroove in the plasterboard down to the brickwork to lay the copper pipe in and then tiling over the resulting slot .I didnt really want to stud wall on top of the existing plasterboard just to run one pipe behind.
Also isit alright to tile on top of plasterboard in a shower cubicle
Thankyou.
