OMG....shower problem this time !!!! When the shower has been on for about 5 mins, the light goes off and the water stops. Then the light goes off at the pull cord. Once the light goes on at the pull cord, the shower will then run again for a few minutes. This is quite a new shower, only 12 months old. Any suggestions....pleeeeze

This looks like a very dangerous earth-leakage problem;-- get an electrician to check out the element for current leakage to earth when hot. Your safety circuits may be self-resetting, allowing the power to come back on. Be safe, and get the shower checked !!
