Hi
I am about to replace a power shower and would like to know if there are kilowatt restrictions as there are for electric showers.

No, a power shower uses hot water from the DHW cylinder and does not have a heating element which is the reason for the high kilowatt usage.

All pumps will only use at the most a few amps which can be supplied from almost any circuit.
