shower screen leaks water under the seal

Post by Cadpharm31 » Sun Oct 03, 2010 11:29 am

 I have a 'bathstore' pivoting bathscreen door above my bath which leaks water under the seal whenever the shower is used. I have had a new thicker seal fitted recently but the problem is still there. Unfortunately the water runs along the top of the bath to a corner then drips onto the floor before appearing through the ceiling in the downstairs toilet below where it then runs down the wall into the wall mounted fan with the expected results of a disabled fan. At the moment I have taken the bath panel off so that I can put a jar in the corner to collect the droplets as they drop from under the shower screen seal. Could anyone please suggest a solution, its driving me nuts!

Cadpharm31,
Get hold of a length of plastic section the same colour as the bath and stick this on the outer edge of the bath (outside the bath screen) using silicone sealant.
end
