what is the correct way round to do things im having a new kitchen fitted is it best to get all the walls plastered before the kitchen or after the kitchen the walls are currently artexed and im have having them skimmed over someone told me that it would be ok the have the kitchen fitted first but i cant see the logic in that what do you think..............

Get the walls plasterer first, then fit the kitchen. it will be far easier for the plasterer to plaster a bare wall than going around kitchen units etc.

Nice new kitchen in! then your going to plaster the walls? That someone who told you it was okay is no member of mensa!
Like you said logical thinking is always the best.
Always plaster first unless your having plumbing or/and electrics done then plaster.
It's not against any rules to fit kitchen then plaster, put as Mr spock said it's illogical captain!
