A little tricky to explain, this one...The back of our ground floor flat is an l-shape, joining onto our external garden wall. At the moment we have a flat roof against the three walls to make a sheltered patio, but we would like to essentially take the flat roof down, and put a front and a roof onto the patio area to make another room. We're in a listed building, but have already spoken to the planning office who said we should have no trouble getting listed building consent providing we use wood and glass only, no UPVC.
With a baby on the way, money and time is a little tight, so we're looking for a simple, affordable solution - any ideas anyone?
