Question please.
I would like to get a loft conversion and have planned where best to put the stairs and the type of stairs that will fit in the space and within head room requirements. It will be a single winder left staircase with 3 treads after the winder. I would like the floor to rap around the left of the stair case as this is above another room. However how would the floor in the section highlighted yellow be supported? Is this only possible if you already have, or build a new supporting wall from the below floor, or is this section of floor suspended from the remaining wall to wall beams somehow? Thanks
