Smallest or Shallowest Concrete Block Paving too High - What can I do?

by benne » Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:33 pm

My drive had a post which fell down leaving a clean break. I've chosen not to place the post back in, but instead fill the hole with Concrete Block Paving. I got hold of Concrete Block Paving 200mm x 100mm x 50mm. The 50mm is slightly high, leaving a slight bulge. I could not find Concrete Block Paving 200mm x 100mm x 40mm. I do not want to smash and dig the ground deeper in order to fit the 50mm block paving. Is there another solution?, do shops even supply 40mm block paving?

thank you

Cut the block down to the required thickness. A Diamond bladed saw or angle grinder is the tool for the job
