I have just had my roof re felted with breatheable membrane and old pantiles put back on. The chimney needed a bit of re-pointing and the roofer said he put some "acid" on the bricks. I lit my fire and the smoke is coming in my bedroom i stuck my head in the loft and it was quite smokey up there too. Would the new felt be the culprit or the chimney?
