We recently fitted an ikea kitchen ourselves (amateurs - very proud!).
On advice from ikea staff, we didn't purchase soft close/push openers from them for the large drawers that we have (wide) because they said that their mechanisms weren't really up to the job.
Whilst impressed with their honesty, we now have a 'handless' kitchen, with no push openers ;-P
Could you kindly advise on decent openers that we can easily fit and that easily purchased, yet are robust to open potentially heavy drawers?!
