Soil pipe gap problem All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

im just about to replace my toilet, the probelm is i have a new toilet pan exit about 4inch wide (outer, standard length i think these days or there abouts), our soil pipe is about 4 1/2 inch wide (inner). the only connectors i have found are one size, how would i fill the gap at the soil pipe as they are too small?

Buy a pan adaptor which is long enough to fit past the 4.5" collar and into the pipe beyond.
