Hi all,
I'm doing a self build project and will be fitting a solar heated water tank on the roof (vacuum tube type, if it's relevant).
As a backup for when there's not enough hot water from the solar tank, I will have a combi boiler (which will also run the underfloor heating, agin, if relevant).
So, here's my question, is it sufficient to simply feed the boiler directly from the solar water tank so that it only kicks in when the water becomes cool enough? Or should I think along the lines of incorporating a thermostatic valve?
Cheers
