I would like to soundproof the ceiling of an apartment "music room" to lessen the impact on my neigbours above when they move in. I play a variety of wind instruments that produce up to a maximum of 92 dB and wonder how penetrating that is likely to be and what I can do to mitigate the noise they hear.

just join this forum to learn more about soundproofing for my home. I see that the place is kind of dead.
Did you manage to get there at the end for your project?

Hi,
I've not had any answers or moved forward at all except to ask a local decorator and a local handyman what they can find out and suggest.
