Spot Lights

by Hawkeye » Mon Aug 18, 2008 8:58 pm

Hi.

I'm looking at replacing the 12v spot lights in the pelmet above the kitchen sink. At present we have 4 spot lights (2 x spot lights per transformer) but I can only seem to buy a set of 3 or 5 lights. Would it be ok to buy a set of 5 lights with the correct transformer and leave 1 light disconnected or would I have to buy a set of 3 (with transformer) and a separate light with a transformer.

Thanks for any help.

As you are aware all come with a transformer so do what I did used 4 and taped over for safety even thought its 12v the fifth one just don't put the light on it. Look at it this way if a spot fails and you don't replace it it doen't mean its dangerous to leave or they wouldn't be able to sell them.
