My next door neighbor had a roof extension done recently. Among the problems I was left with where stains on my conservatory roof. Brown colour stains in stripes down each panel in the center of each panel, beleive this had been caused by Builders dust of sand and cement, know that sand can cause stains on lots of things. Think it has settled in the middle of panels because each panel is fasten in the centre by a bolt to wooden battern underneath. This builders dust was never cleaned off the whole time work was in progress. Though it was supposed to be a Party Wall Award Job builder took no notice of that and did as he like though it said in the Award he was supposed to use tauplins to protect my property. When they finished I tried to clean these stains of as it looks dreadfull on a sunny day looking down on this roof makes it look dirty all the time even after cleaning, findit realy drepressing to look at. Just recently reading someone elese prblem with a stain rust was mentioned and I wondered if rhis might be it would or could rust embedded into PVC panelling. Has anyone any idea on this please have you heard of this happening before. Have been trying to convince my surveyor that it could have come from the dye or stain in sand. One builder I spoke to said it was a known problem but I don't know never heard of it myself. Have been trying to make a claim for this PVC panelling to be replaced, though it is agreed its a strange way or pattern for this to happen in can think of no other way it could have happen this stain was not there before they can on the scene. Appreeciate any help with this....
