Hi,
I'd like to clad my stairs with the same engineered flooring that I've used on the first floor landing. It's 7mm thick and the existing stair treads are 30mm thick with a bullnose leading edge. I'm having a nightmare trying to find a suitable nosing to cover the existing edge and the raw edge of the laminate.
I've found products online, though they tend to be aluminium with inserts rather than wood.
Also the bottom few steps have a curved leading edge. In the aluminium or similar solutions, these curves would have to be engineered at prohibitive cost (over £1,000 for the whole staircase).
Any stair experts out there who may offer an alternative?
I'm also posting this on the flooring forum.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
