I'm new to the forums and uncertain I'm posting in the correct place, so apologies if not. I'm wishing to strip some varnished beech. Modern Nitromors won't touch it and hot air gun burns the wood but doesn't soften this varnish. I understand that there are nasty industrial chemicals which may be more effective. Are these available for DIY? Is there another solution? Thanks.
