I have double garage doors, metal up and over.They need completely stripping of the gloss paint layers that are now peeling again, I did a patch up job about 6 years ago and while it lasted well the time has come to do it properly! I dont relish the thought of sanding it all off so what are the alternatives. My brother has suggested a metal wire wool to take it off but I thought heat might be quicker if not a liquid stripper.

Any ideas?
