I wanted to strip my skirting boards on the stairs which are carpeted & wanted to find the best way of protecting them while stripping the paint? I used Peel-Away on the other skirting boards which worked well, but found it leaked out from the paper after a few hours onto the floor. So, I wanted to find a good way of protecting the carpet before I started. Thanks, Michael

The best solution is to lift the carpet, if this is not possible try masking tape but tuck it well down the edge of the carpet.
