Study on Designing a DIY SRAM Circuit, 1 Bit for Now

by lingyueqing » Tue Jan 16, 2018 8:05 am

I've been doing a lot of research on making a DIY SRAM circuit (1 bit for now). I've been primarily looking at https://codeitdown.com/diy-ram-memory/ and followed this circuit diagram Diagram

and I've followed all the instructions and built the circuit on tinkerCAD (theres a 9v battery up the top hiding) TinkerCad Circuit

Now it almost works, I can set the latch (C-whose IC chip is 74LVCH16373ADGG,11 datasheet attached:https://www.kynix.com/uploadfiles/pdf/74LVCH16373ADGG2c11_10111.pdf) to low, set D to either 1 or 0 and the LED will follow, and then set the latch back to high and it will stick to that value and keep it on the LED after I set the latch back to high.

However the problem is when I try to save a different value, when I set latch to low and change the value, and then set the latch to high again to keep it, it wont actually change and just display the first saved value on the LED.

And I've scoured the diagrams and internet for hours and am thoroughly stumped and was wondering if any of you have any ideas.

Here is the TinkerCAD link if anyone wants it: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/cmgIdJMl98a-copy-of-1-bit-memory-not-working

How do I set the latch correctly to get the operation I desire?
