Suggestions Needed and Rough Costs for Drive Repair

by greengrass » Wed Feb 22, 2017 12:23 pm

Any suggestions on cost of replacing / repairing the driveway entrance for three properties. approx. 3 x 4m straight run with small bit on left side of fence end on entrance.
Tree behind fence on left seem to have caused subsidence or at least two of the four inline trees.
Had one estimate by cold caller £3,000.
Thanks in advance.

Hi greengrass,
Looks like a top dressing has been applied to an old tarmac drive. You could have the same treatment again but it will probably fail near the entrance with cars braking.
Suggest you get hold of some reputable firms to give you a price - the whole drive may need digging up.
