Supply of water to (temporary) campsite

by ifw » Mon May 28, 2007 2:21 pm

I have a friend who needs to set up a temporary water supply to accomodate a field of campers, does anybody know of a method of boosting the water pressure to enable an outdoor multipule shower unit to operate??
I know it's a strange request but I said I'd ask.

I can think of several ways of doing it........but it would be cheaper to book your camp site guests into a five star hotel.

Depends really on how low your water pressure is, how you are going to heat water, and how you are going to drain the waste water...

It all adds up to a lot of money.

If you take a look around some of the camping websites, you'll find adds for solar showers which are just black plastic bags which you fill with water and leave out in the sun.......(if there is any) and then hang them from a convenient tree or what ever and away you go

They come with a shower hose and spray attached.

Very eco friendly too.
