Thankyou

Recently I was changing a light fitting back to a single for economy reasons, (why burn 3 times the power when.....). So it was out with the tool box and my newly acquired ceiling rose. Disarm the circuit and remove the old fitting. Ugh! It had been so long since I installed this thing that suddenly I doubted myself. In a flash of inspiration I booted up my laptop and searched (d.i.y ceiling rose). Clicking on this site straight away, perhaps the easiest find of all my searches. Next I clicked through the relevant pages and BINGO! A beautiful diagram of exactly the same setup as my own wiring. I completed the work and tested it, finding everything OK. It was like having a friend looking over my shoulder just in case I went wrong. Which is a long way of saying THANK YOU, for a great site and your ever so clear diagrams. Yours sincerely J.H.
