I'm considering buying an end terrace house which is bricked up and derelict and has been for he last 15 years for my 2 sons to move into and work on with myself
Because its bricked up at entrances and windows I can't get in to see the property which is selling for around £40K
I have some diy skills in that I've fitted kitchens, bathrooms, floors, etc but am wondering what sort of problems a derelict house left untouched for this time might throw up
The brick structure looks ok outside for a building around 80 years old. I know I'll have to rewire, plaster, kitchen, bathroom and maybe refloor depending on dampness but what else could it throw up?
I wasn't going to bother paying a surveyor as they would not get access and would only see what we can see
Any advice appreciated
Thanks, Stephen
