Tiling on Concrete Floor

by Djcooran » Mon Jan 12, 2009 12:05 pm

I'm planning on tiling my kitchen floor. The floor is concrete and it is pretty flat and smooth.

I was simply going to apply the adhesive but it's been suggested that I need to seal the floor first.

Do I need to treat the concrete floor at all before tiling?

Thanks

Djcooran,
No need for treatment wet the floor and use a cementious based floor adhesive - usually a dry powder you mix with water.
end
