Toilet Waste Pipe is Higher than one on new Toilet - Can you use a Flexi Fitting?

Post by MmeP » Mon May 11, 2015 3:55 pm

Having managed to remove my old toilet and tile my bathroom I have now realised that the new toilet waste pipe is lower than the pipe coming from the wall by 2cm. Can I use a flexible pipe? My logic says that isn't a good idea but just wondered if anyone else has done this? Or do I need to buy another loo?

Hi MmeP
As you say, this is not an ideal situation, but if you pop into a proper plumber's merchants they should be able to sort you out with an offset pan connector.
