Toilt Seats

by peterdr1953 » Sun Jan 06, 2008 8:40 pm

this may sound a real daft question? New toilet seats small screw fttings large hols in the toilet basin. Is there such a thing as an adaptor kit you can use so there is no slack within the hole? the nylon lock nuts strip on the steel threads so the seat keeps coming loose???

All toilets have the large holes, and there is no conversion kit as the bolts are designed to fit that size hole. The trick is tightening the nylon nuts tight enough, but not too tight so as to strip the threads.
