Its sounds as though your toilet isnt leaking but its overflowing. The type of toliet you mention would normally have a built in over flow, to stop it basically overflowing. So you loo is doing its job. To correct the problem you need to slighty adjust the fill 'fill up' setting. without seeing the inside of your loo its hard to say where this will be. It usually a plastic screw which you can tighten or loosen to adjust the amount of water inside the flush compartment. These screws can sometimes work loose from time to time so its nothing to worry about but I would get it sorted sooner rather than later. Its definatley a simple job, no need to get an expensive plumber in. Hope this helps? cheers
