twin head shower with salamander pump has very low power?

by robbarr » Sat Jan 24, 2015 12:00 pm

my twin head shower was fitted by the builders when i had my extention done, the twin head salamander 3 bar pump runs it and has been in about 2 yrs. shower has been in about 4 yrs. the pump was replaced because originally the plumber fitted it in the wrong place, the new one was fitted in the place recomended by the salamander factory. i have now got very low power when i turn the shower on and after listing to the pump operating the salamander people say it is a fault with the shower. the pump sounds fine when you turn on shower its just above trickle power and when you press in diverter button does not have enough power to switch. i would be very greatful for any advice . Thanks ROB.
