Hello,

We have two switches controlling a single light in our bedroom, one you can reach from bed and one by the door.

We have fitted a new pendant light in our bedroom but it is very bright, so we wanted to put in dimmer switches.

The question is, can I just replace each of the ordinary switches with a dimmer switch or do I need to leave one as an ordinary switch?

Leave one as normal switch.

PS there are remote versions that fit into ceiling rose.
