Uneven Ceiling Between Rooms - How Can We Sort This? Your comments on how to design the perfect home - And help others do it !

Hi guys! We decided to create an open plan living room but ended up with having to work around a “triangle” as a result of uneven ceiling between two rooms.
At first we thought we should make it a feature and put different sized spotlights in, however faced the problem of finding ascending sized lights in the same style. After that we thought we should do some sort of bookshelf and fill it with books of different sizes.
I am not a big fan of either of those ideas and was wondering if there is anything else we could do?
Would appreciate any advice on the matter.

I would be inclined to level the entire ceiling no matter what you did the eye would be drawn to that area.
Even if you put in a false beam it would still be visible that the ceiling was out
