I have a rotary bathplug - the kind where you rotate a dial near the taps to get the plug to go up and down. My wife has rung me to say the rotary bit doesn't work but that it won't also take a standard plug because of the metal rod that sticks up from the plughole. I can't get home for weeks to take a look. Anybody got any advice in the meantime? Is it it a relatively easy job to swop this over for a standard chain plug, which would need a new grill where the rotary bit is. BTW, it is one of those quarter-circle space saving baths.
Grateful for any advice. Jimbo
