My girlfriend has a valliant boiler roughly about 5 years old. She accidently let the gas meter run out and now the boiler wont fire up. I've topped the pressure up to 2 bars but that has not resolved the problem. Any idea's anyone???

There'll be a way of resetting the boiler as if it tried to flash up with no gas provided then it will go to lockout.

Check instructions - there'll be a reset button or turn the selector switch to the reset position on the control panel.
