Ventillation and draughts

by Jos5 » Wed Jul 23, 2008 4:24 pm

Hi Docs

A bedroom in my house has been very cold and plagued by condensation and as the walls were very cold to the touch (being solid) I opted to dry line the room and have also installed an extra radiator.

I'm pretty sure that I should also ventillate the room better in some way but am a bit loath to start chopping air bricks into the walls (as my retired builder neighbour reccommends) because I think it might make the room cold again when I've only just got it warm.

How can I be sure to strike the right balance between controlling humidity and avoiding draughts?

Cheers

Jos
