I have a very loud booming noise coming from my Glow Worm Energy saver boiler on ignition. This is so loud the radiators in the house vibrate every time the boiler starts. This is starting to worry me now.

Two questions

1. Is it safe? (sounds like it is going to come off the wall sometimes!)

2. What is causing this?

Any help would be gratefully received.

In answer to your questions:
1 NO turn it off and get it looked at straight away
2 Lots of causes, possible gas valve ceasing, possible gas valve letting by, possible gas leak.

Please dont chance it.

as per previous post but could just e a weak spark from your ignition electrode or yoour gas valve setting have gone a little astray,anyhow just get it checked
