Hello
I've recently noticed a damp patch on one of my bedroom wallls, the wall is north facing and is 90% rendered on the outside. I've recently stripped out this room and had it re-plastered, when doing the work it was obvious that a damp had already affected the wall, but had been repaired.
I assumed it was due to the roof, which was replaced a couple of years before I purchased the property, but I've now found out it wasn't the roof :(
I assume the damp patch is down to the non-stop rain we've had in this part of the world, probably everyday for over a week now.
What would be the best way of dealing with this? I'm thinking of hiring a cherry picker and painting the the house in clear weatherproof paint/sealer.
Any advice would be welcome!
