Bedroom floor insulation possible cause of damp?

by dee6359 » Mon Jul 06, 2020 6:08 pm

Have insulated under our bedroom floor between the joists with rockwool sound insulation and then filled with normal insulation. Could this have caused a problem with condensation or damp without any airflow between bedroom floor and ceiling below?

Hi dee6359
Insulation installed as you describe is unlikely to cause condensation.
