Hi there, I have a new flat and have some wall lights, put in not such a great location on wall.
They don't look nice either.
I was wondering, they have curved frosted glass about 40cm across by 50 cm high. They are held to light fixture/casing with screws and brackets.
I can unscrew the glass parts. Im thinking I can put a nice bit of wood to replace the glass for nice backlighting on the wall, ie use the screws ans existing brackets to hold the light weight polished wood.
Can anyone tell me legality of this ie fire hazard etc? I plan to do some airbnb and perhaps rent the place out in the future. I can attach photos if you need, will do later.
If wood is not a good choice, can I replace the glass with a better new design? Again is this ok legally?
Any other alternatives? How can I get rid of the lights off the wall etc? How much will cost?
Many Thanks!
