WAll or FLOOR FIRST Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

Hi, This may be a daft question!
Do you tile the wall first or the floor, tiling the whole bathroom top to bottom, no skirtings going back on?

Tiles the walls but start (with a batten on the wall) at the second course up. Then tile the floor wall to wall and seal with a mastic sealant. Finallt tile the last course down to the floor
