Wall Vents, are tehy needed?

by Skinner.Daddy » Tue Apr 15, 2008 9:16 am

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this but here goes...

I have an old pit house which used to be coal powered years ago. since then a gas central heating system has been put in place.

In the living room and bathroom there are air vents, large, almost square ones.

What are they for and can I cover/block them, because all they are doing at the moment is letting cold air in.

Thanks for your help

Jon

I would not remove the air vents they are there for a reason you can replace them for newer more efficient ones.
