I'd appreciate advice to repair a tear in patterned wallpaper.

A 4 inch portion of the wallpaper has been ripped off by parcel tape. Picture of the damage attached. The part of wallpaper that came off is stuck fast to the parcel tape and not salvageable.

We don't have any offcuts either.

Any advice on how to repair the damage?

Hi emmaty,
You haven’t got a chance of repairing this damage so you can either hide it under something (a picture) or fit a wall mounted mirror in a position where you can rob a piece of matching paper.
All depends on how prominent the damage is.
