Wallpapering onto Large Amount of Filler

by BillsInLondon » Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:42 am

Hi there,

There’s a large hole that I’ve discovered that has, at some stage, been filled with a foam filler. The wall paper has been stuck directly onto this but it obviously hasn’t taken long for it to peel off.

Any tips on how to stick the paper back on? Any special adhesive or painting on a primer first be of use?

Many thanks,

Bills

I would have away with some of the foam filler and skim the surface with plaster or poly filler. Sand with medium grit paper and then wallpaper over it... Just my 2 cents
