Washing Machine Hose Below Floor Level

by choco777 » Sat Feb 02, 2019 7:48 pm

Hi everyone,

I re-arranging my kitchen and would like to install the washing machine with the following setup. I will cut a trench in the concrete below the wooden floor to fit the hose.
Do you think that would work?

Thanks for your help and advice :)

Not a chance, water will always find its own level. So your waste must always flow downhill. So the only way you could connect the waste would be where you have the word waste on your drawing. You would also have to put a trap at the washing machine end.
