Water and Electric Spec's for new Replacement Shower

by evohicks » Mon Jul 16, 2018 9:53 am

Hi guys, I think it's about time our 20yr old+ shower gets a rest and gets replaced.
Just checking the supplies I can see the shower water supply is T'd off the main supply to the water tank (I have a gravity fed system) so can I assume this will be mains pressure?

Also the electric supply is on an RCD in the consumer unit and the cable is badged up as.... Doncaster Cable England Basec 300/500w 6242y 10.0
Its around 20mm wide so I'm hoping this is the 10mm cable I need to get a 10.5KW shower or something like.
Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks
Andy
