Wet ground!!

Post by katanga » Thu Apr 03, 2008 5:36 pm

I'm doing a new fence for the garden and the ground is very boggy and wet. Whenever i dig any holes, within 24 hours they are 3/4 full of water! Any suggestion for a good concrete mix that will help this situation and how big should holes be dug for a 8' post for a 6' fence?

2 FEET DEEP AND TWICE THE WIDTH OF THE POST AT LEAST.

USE POSTFIX (DRY LAID).

See our project on concreting fence posts. bale out water just before you put concrete in. All the info you need is in the project
