I have a victorian terrace and there was damp problems in some areas. Next door property is higher so likely that the dampproof was breached. I had some key areas reinjected that were under a previous guaruntee adn also all the floors were taken up on ground floor - Huge amounts of earth and silt dug out - new airbricks put in etc and then flooring put back down.
However the hall wall is now damper than ever before and when it rains for even just a few days (even now in August ) the wall gets soaking really quickly and bits of plaster abover the skiting board are blown and discoloured!
I am wondering how this could have made the problem worse and what else can we do?
