Hi all i have a 1940 property which has been rendered, we found damp in the bedroom when moving a wardrobe which looks to be coming from the corner of the window i have done a temporary repair with new mortar mix. but looking at the rendering it looks like it needs some attention, in a few places the stones have fallen off. im a bit unsure what to do for the best can you pebble dash over the top of the existing render? as it looks sound. or would painting solve my problem?
